I'm tryng to install Gentoo Linux on the Sempron CPU model but I can't find the Cflag string which is good to use with my CPU, someone know it??

I am trying to install openSUSE 11.1 (64bit) onto HP 6735s and it is failing at the stage of installing packages with the message 'Removal of package dejavu failed.'. I do not know what could be the cause as I have run this now setting Linux to install with two partitions / of 20GB ext3 and /home of 280GB and all of the disk initialisation seems to work. I am afraid it may be the dvd I have set-up or the fact that the 64bit O/S does not like the AMD processors. Does anyone have any experience of installing SUSE 11 onto this machine?
